Flights from Western Sydney Airport Set to Boost Accommodation 

10 June 2026:  The nation’s peak accommodation body has welcomed today's announcement that the first flights from Western Sydney International Airport will officially take off on October 25.  Accommodation Australia NSW GM Stacey McBride said the new airport, which will serve up to 10 million passengers annually, will provide a much-needed boost to hotels right across NSW.  “Western Sydney is now Australia’s third-largest economy and home to half of the city’s population,” said Ms McBride.
