ATHOC operates nationally with an elected board representing a range of membership categories covering resorts, timeshare owners, developers and promoters, marketers, exchange companies and organisations providing professional advice to the timeshare industry.
On behalf of all Members, the board works closely with members, advocates, and with administrative and regulatory bodies throughout Australia to achieve the vision and mission of ATHOC.
To continually foster a high standard of ethics and adherence to industry best practice amongst Members, all Members are required to abide by a Code of Ethics and a Code of Practice.

ATHOC Board & Committee
Craig has over 35 years' experience in the vacation ownership industry at the most senior level. Over the last 25 years has been exclusively involved in branded vacation clubs, managing operations in 8 countries across Asia, including 13 years for Marriott Vacation Club and over 18 years with Accor.
Barry Robinson serves as President and Managing Director, International Operations, for Travel + Leisure Co., and is a member of the Travel + Leisure Co. global Executive Committee. Robinson oversees markets including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, China, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, the Middle East and Europe.
Robinson leads the international operations and growth strategy for the largest timeshare operation outside of North America, utilising the Club Wyndham and Accor Vacation Club brands and catering to a collective membership exceeding 100,000 members. The business also operates a number of mixed-use properties in the Asia Pacific region.
Since joining the business in 2003, Robinson has grown the International region to a club asset portfolio in excess of US$1.5 billion with more than 100 hotel and vacation club properties either open or under development. For more than 23 years, Robinson has driven growth for international hospitality brands in Asia, overseeing the acquisitions for Accor Vacation Club in Australia and Resort Frontier (manager of Sundance Resort Club) in Japan for Travel + Leisure Co.
In the Asia Pacific region, he is also President of the Asia Pacific Resort Development Organisation (APRDO), the industry body for vacation ownership in Asia, and Vice President of the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC), the industry body for vacation ownership in Australia. For more than 10 years, Robinson has served as a board member of Accommodation Australia, the peak industry body representing tourist accommodation in Australia.
Carole was the Chief Operating Officer of Classic Leisure Pty Ltd trading as Classic Holidays from 2002 to her retirement in 2025. In that role she was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Resort Management and Member Services which represented some 50,000 members. She still provides consulting services to Classic Holidays when needed.

Since joining arrivia in 2005, John has played a key role in driving the company’s international growth while maintaining strong operational foundations. After serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Scottsdale headquarters, he relocated in 2015 to lead expansion efforts across Australia’s Gold Coast, Asia-Pacific, India, and the UK. His leadership has been critical to scaling arrivia’s global footprint, ensuring regional teams operate with both financial discipline and consistency across the broader organisation.
As arrivia continues to evolve its global loyalty platform, John is focussed on making sure new technology and digital capabilities translate smoothly across internation markets. He works closely with regional and enterprise leaders to guide investment decisions, business development, and vendor relationships throughout Asia-Pacific. By balancing local market needs with the company’s broader tech and digital objectives, John helps ensure partners and members experience the same high standard of value and reliability, no matter where they are in the world.
Prior to joining the organisation, John gained extensive financial experience in leadership roles at Price Waterhouse and Bell Sports.
John holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island.
Robert Martini is a Director of Club Holidays Australia Limited the Responsible Entity for Marriott Vacation Club Destinations, Australia, and the “Key Person”, Responsible Manager on Responsible Entity’s Australian Financial Services License.
He has been involved in the Vacation Ownership (Timeshare) Industry since 1979 having held senior management and directorship roles with several of the largest industry participants in the Asia-Pacific Region including Marriott, Minor Hotels & Resorts, Trendwest-Wyndham and Accor. He has also served on the board of several industry associations in the region.
BEng (Mech), Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. CEO of Classic Holidays and Director of four timeshare resort/clubs. Involved in all aspects of timeshare including sales, marketing and resort management. Responsible Manager for Responsible Entity managing Timesharing Schemes. Director of ATHOC and involved in industry regulatory compliance discussions, policy and future wellbeing of the industry.
Fiona Rickards is the Resort Manager and Company Secretary of Pacific View Resort on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, where she has worked for more than 25 years. She is responsible for the overall management of the resort, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, financial oversight, shareholder communications, and strategic planning.
Throughout her career, Fiona has developed extensive expertise in the Australian timeshare industry, working closely with boards of directors, legal advisers, industry partners, and shareholders. She has a strong focus on transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
As a Director of the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC), Fiona is passionate about supporting best practice governance, strengthening industry collaboration, and helping member resorts navigate an evolving regulatory and commercial environment. She is committed to ensuring the industry continues to adapt to changing owner expectations while protecting the interests of owners and stakeholders.
Fiona holds an MBA and Certificate in Governance Practice and is dedicated to promoting professional standards, ethical leadership, and strong governance across the Australian timeshare sector.
Lucas Ramos is Vice President, Operations, Travel & Membership – EMEA & API for Travel + Leisure Co., where he leads operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific for RCI, the world's largest vacation ownership membership travel ecosystem, and 7Across, one of Australia's leading vacation exchange networks. He is responsible for member services, commercial operations and strategic initiatives, with a focus on operational excellence, digital transformation and sustainable business growth.
With more than 20 years' experience in hospitality, including almost a decade in the vacation ownership industry, Lucas has built a reputation for transforming operations, driving innovation and leading high-performing international teams. He is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to modernise customer experiences and position the industry for long-term sustainable growth.
Beyond his executive role, Lucas serves as Treasurer of the Asia Pacific Resort Development Organisation (APRDO), supporting the advancement of the vacation ownership industry across the region. He is committed to fostering collaboration between the accommodation and vacation ownership sectors and believes innovation, strong partnerships and customer-centric thinking are key to the future of the industry.
Donna brings more than 25 years of extensive legal expertise between private practice and in-house counsel, specialising in corporate and commercial law with expertise in financial services law and corporate governance.
In her role as Vice President Legal & Compliance with Travel + Leisure, Donna is responsible for providing the Travel + Leisure Asia Pacific Group with strategic legal advice, ensuring the Group’s compliance with complex securities and managed investment legislation, providing legal oversight to Club Wyndham South Pacific and Accor Vacation Club sales and resort operations, and serves as Company Secretary for the Group’s Australian entities.
Donna was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the New Zealand High Court and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and has held various legal roles in England, New Zealand and Australia during her career.
Martin Tolan, Regional Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East for Marriott Vacations Worldwide, has over 35 years of experience in vacation ownership in the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.
At the beginning of his career, Tolan created a thriving marketing company in Florida acquired by Vistana in 1997. After the successful sale of his company, he was asked to stay on and lead the business growth in the East Region of the U.S., Caribbean and Mexico.
In 2012, Martin joined Anantara Vacation Club in Bangkok, Thailand, acting effectively for four years as Chief Operating Officer, building Anantara into one of Asia's largest timeshare sales operations. He was responsible for expanding and opening several Asian markets, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
In 2016, he joined ILG Vacation Ownership in Orlando, Florida. In 2018, Marriott Vacations Worldwide acquired ILG; he is now responsible for the region's marketing & Sales performance, growth, and strategic direction.
With his extensive experience globally, he has been a pioneer in developing successful leadership teams, business growth, and ensuring innovative programs across businesses.
